KU Engineering Programs Earn National Recognition in U.S. News & World Report
LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas has 55 graduate programs in the top 50 among public universities — including eight in the top 10 — in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings.
According to the rankings, KU is among a select group of universities with dozens of graduate programs placed in the top 50 among public institutions, reflecting the university’s broad academic excellence and impact. U.S. News & World Report evaluates programs based on factors such as research activity, faculty quality and reputation within the field.
Within engineering, several disciplines stood out for their strong performance. KU’s graduate programs in areas such as chemical engineering, civil engineering, aerospace engineering and electrical engineering have all received national recognition. These programs contribute to KU’s reputation as a hub for innovation in fields ranging from infrastructure and energy to advanced materials and flight technologies.
