EARTH Education and Outreach

The next generation of engineers and sustainability leaders

Who we are

EARTH is an engineering research center dedicated to advancing sustainable technologies while supporting education and community learning. We help kids and communities explore how engineering and sustainability work together in everyday life by partnering with educators, schools, and community organizations to offer hands-on learning, stories, and age-appropriate STEM resources that connect classroom learning to real-world challenges and future pathways.

Why it matters

EARTH’s work matters because the engineering systems that shape our everyday lives affect our health, our communities, and the environment. By helping students and communities understand how engineering and sustainability work together, EARTH shows that real-world problem-solving can make a positive difference and that everyone has a role in building a more sustainable future.
