Kris Nguyen

Kris Nguyen graduated from the University of Kansas in May of 2025 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Chemical Engineering. His research focuses on performing Life-Cycle Assessments on two key areas: (1) Ionic Liquid Extractive Distillation for separating various refrigerant mixtures, and (2) the incineration of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) gases. He is currently working on these projects under the guidance of Dr. Aaron Scurto.
